Welcome! Thank you for your interest in the work I produce under Chrystal Raven Studios.

I’m a mixed-media artist, who has taken fondly to the mediums of painting, sculpture and digital artwork.

Currently, I am attending Emily Carr University of Art and Design, in Vancouver BC, and working on completing their Fine Arts certificate program.

I am very inspired by the stirrings of nature; with the unseen realms moving us in subtle and sometimes cataclysmic ways. My work is to capture the transient and make it still. A moments candid posturing, captivating the re-wilding of our minds and hearts, amidst a time of becoming conscious of our taming. The motifs that express this the best are love and death. Nature-core, Witch-core, Gothic Revival, and Art Nouveau are style/themes most interesting to me as an artist.

Chrystal Raven Studios was initially created to promote my dreamcatchers at local fairs. I began creating them as a creative means to connect with my Indigenous heritage, which grew from there to me creating commissioned pieces, but I’ve always envisioned the studio to encompass much more than that. As a mother of four and a business solo act, this vision has grown slowly.

I have a background in the esoteric and mystical as a High Priestess and intuitive and felt called to incorporate this world into my art practice through the creation of my tarot deck, Vespertine Tarot. After 3 years of work, it’s ready to be shared with the public.

Chrystal Raven Studios has many more projects underway, including a vision for several other tarot and oracle card decks.
