Ethereal and Bold, Chrystal’s work aims to capture the Spirit of Nature in its diversity.
“My artistic expression is impacted by variety. I cannot interact with just one medium. Weaving artistic disciplines together is incredibly satisfying. I get to mold with with clay, paint with acrylic, draw with Procreate and pour with resin; bringing to life truly distinct pieces full of whimsy and wonder.”

The Weaver
Acrylic, Mixed Media, 2025 The Weaver was a deeply personal piece that infused my relationship to the medicine of the raven spirit as a messenger.
My journey into self-discovery, diving into my Indigenous culture and weaving a unique pattern of identity as a mixed raced woman, was a path first started in many ways, through my weaving of contemporary-styled dreamcatchers. The Weaver celebrates this work, honouring the Raven’s call.
Weaver was painted on an 16’x16’ canvas with acrylic paint and embellished with a dreamcathcer and beaded medallion in the center as the raven’s eye.
The Weaver was a featured piece at the Langely Arts Council’s ‘My Heritage’ group exhibition in 2025.
